Hey, I live in southern louisiana (hot, humid, rainy weather) and I’m new to camping lol. I’m trying to decide between the Teton Mountain Ultra 2 person tent and the Naturehike Mongar 2 person tent. The weight of the Teton (7lbs) is my only concern because I do intend on backpacking soon as well. From what I can tell, other than weight, they are pretty much the same tent. I’ve heard wonderful things about both companies, but I have seen some negative thoughts on Naturehike’s product durability. Any advice?

Nice comparison. Another one you could check out is the Sofirn LT1s. It has USB C charging, power bank function, replaceable 5000mAh battery, ramping from warm to cool white, red light and also you can turn on only one side for more direct lighting. It's very compact.

That's how you do a review. We just purchased this tent and waiting to put it this this weekend. I think since 2 years ago they've upgraded the bag. There is a piece of fabric you can tear off to widen the bag out. Pretty convenient.

I bought my Wanona 6 based on your recommendation about 9 months ago but didn't get a chance to try it out. It is difficult to stretch the body of the tent onto the poles so your struggle made me happy that it wasn't just me. You explained the set up so well. It feels smaller than my REI Kingdom 6's and Nemo Wagontop 6 due to the angled back wall but the well fitted, large vestibule and your testing of rain resistance has me convinced it's the right tent to take on an upcoming 7 day, multiple site trip. Plenty of room for a large cot, chair and table and my collapsable cabinet. I now own 9 tents and can't name one as my favorite as they are all best for different conditions. I'm trying to take up backpacking so I'm researching 2 and 3 person tents next!

Okay so you've got me hooked on the Columbia Mammoth Creek, mainly for the bay windows. But I see now that it's discontinued. So I'm guess I'm leaning towards the core instant lighted 10-person tent with screen room. Do you think the Columbia is that much better that I should wait and see if one pops up on eBay?

Cant recommend the Wawona 6 by Northface enough. Aside from the set up time (it is huge and Texas summers are HOT), i love mine. But because of how long it takes to set up, i decided to try the Gazelle T4 Plus and its awesome too. Ive had the first version of the Wawona 6 for 5 years and it has been through hell and was all smiles on the other side. Even experienced a rain storm so bad that the floor was basically a waterbed. I have had to patch 2 tiny holes in the floor and i have a bent tent pole that Northface has promised to replace after 5 years. VERY IMPRESSED!!

$1.5K for the Gazelle T4 Plus?!?! HOLY COW. i did not pay anywhere near that much last year for mine. Talk about Inflation!

19:11 The Coleman Instant tent was my first tent about 10 years ago, and it was a nightmare. Hopefully it has gotten better over the decade, but because of the really cheap tarp-like material as the floor (that rubbed-through where the ceiling hub made contact when folded down and stored), and the corners collapsing during rain storms, I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. I went from that to the Northface Wawona 6 to the Gazelle T4 Plus. Those last two are fantastic.

We have the thermarest tranquility 6 and my husband wants to now get the wawona 6. Have you reviewed a thermarest or have any input on if we should keep it or switch to the wawona?

What all purpose cabin tent you recommend

An excellent review! I am not an experienced camper, however a couple of things I can note from my last camping trip. First time with my new standing tent. Unless you are filling up the tent with people or spending considerable time in it, the vertical walls are not too much of an issue. As long as you can move around easily in the central area you'll be fine because you will not be trying to stand in the corners. The walls flapping into you as you sleep by the sides will be more of an issue. Ventilation sounds good, but if you are camping in a cold area it may make your life tougher. I was freezing up in the mountains, as the cold wind easily blew into the tent. I would be happy with the coleman's ventilation as long as it was adequate.

What is it with you millennials? Lazy or just incapable of putting a real tent with 4 pole together. I'll go with both for an answer. I don't get y'all focus on time savings at camp. Its not like your doing anything important.
